How the Inspired Performance of the Game works
Once every week, COX3 televises the Game of the Week: the hottest high school
football matchups in Orange County. Toward the conclusion of each telecast, the COX announcers
decide the Inspired Performance of the Game - an act of exceptional effort, focus, or
ability.
$1,000 - Who wins the money and how?
It's simple: voters (like you) decide the the best play; at the end of the season the
winning school's athletic department receives $1,000 from Infiniti of Mission Viejo. Vote
now!

COX3 Game of the Week Airing Schedule
Game of the Week films once per week on Friday and airs seven more times throughout the
week. The COX3 Game of the Week, contanining each week's Inspired Performance of the
Game, is also available through COX On Demand for instant viewing.

Aliso Niguel High wins Inspired Performance of the Game Award and takes home $1,000! (2011
Ceremony)
Infiniti of Mission Viejo presented the season-long COX3 Game of the Week Inspired
Performance of the Game award to Aliso Niguel High School at the team’s year- end football
banquet in December.
Infiniti of Mission Viejo general manager Dave Anton presented a check for $1000 toward
athletic programs to Aliso Niguel football coach Kurt Westling and Principal Chris Carter.
“We’d like to congratulate the Wolverines on winning the Inspired Performance of the Game,”
said Anton. “On behalf of Infiniti of Mission Viejo, I can’t tell you how excited we are to be
a part of the landscape of Orange County high school football.”
“We would like to thank Infiniti of Mission Viejo for the $1,000 check and would also like
to thank both COX Cable and [Infiniti of Mission Viejo] for their constant support of high
school athletics in Orange County. We are proud the Aliso Niguel Wolverines won the play of
the year, and to have the play be from our two of our captains, Nick Carducci and Kyle Paris.
They had outstanding performances throughout the year and represent our school and community
well.”

Northwood High takes home $1,000! (2010 Ceremony)
Infiniti of Mission Viejo owner Matt Gunderson presents a $1,000 check to the Northwood
High School Athletic Department for being the top voted Infiniti Inspired Performance Play of
the Game throughout the 2010 COX3 Game of the Week.
