2012 Infiniti FX50
The 2012 Infiniti FX50 comes equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 engine generating 390 hp. This engine is backed by an electronically controlled 7-speed automatic transmission with Adaptive Shift Control and a manual mode option that uses Downshift Rev Matching. To get the best performance out of the engine Infiniti has provided customers with the available Continuous Damping Control that will automatically tighten or soften the suspension, or engage sport mode if a stiffer ride is to your liking. The 2012 Infiniti FX50 has many standard amenities that are optional on the FX35. The FX50 comes with the Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System with color touch-screen display, Lane guidance and 3-D building graphics. The touch-screen in dash display is capable of displaying a Birdview™ virtual representation of the car utilizing a camera on every side. The display also shows XM NavTraffic® which includes real-time traffic information. The FX50 is also equipped with a dual occupant memory system for driver's seat, outside mirrors and steering wheel, linked to individual Intelligent Keys as well as entry/exit assist for driver's seat and steering wheel.
The FX50 is fitted with the reverse tilt-down feature for the outside mirrors, aluminum roof rails and steering column with telescopic and power tilt.
Around View® Monitor with Front and Rear Sonar Systems are standard on the FX50. Utilizing four exterior cameras your Infiniti can display a virtual 360-degree view of your surroundings. A bird's-eye perspective is displayed on the in-dash monitor and will display a warning as well as produce an audible sound when you get too close to an object. Distance Control Assist sense the surrounding traffic and helps the driver release the throttle applying braking force if needed when the traffic slows.
